I normally get delivery from here and the food is pretty good depending on what you order. The shrimp with lobster sauce I like. Their rice is on point. Egg rolls are dec.

Pretty good food. The chips were crunchy and tasty. The wings were just alright. It was lunch time when we visited, so we utilized the offered lunch menu. It provided an array of choices which included a bowl of soup, egg roll, and a main dish. I had the hot and sour soup, it was excellent. Also tried a bite of the wonton soup which was okay but a bit too doughy. My dish, Beef with oyster sauce was okay. Here's the breakdown:The restaurant and its decor, dark and seemingly very old, rated a 2.The food, rated a 3.The service, rated a 5. The servers, although incredibly busy, were friendly, quick, and polite.

Searched for a Chinese buffet and this popped up first on Google maps, but it's not a buffet. I still enjoyed my visit and find it a good value.The decor is your standard corner restaurant with a bit of age to it. The staff were friendly and smiling. My server was an older man who was knowledgeable and friendly. He would occasionally start singing along to the soft rock playing on the radio. I loved it.I tried the Hunan shrimp dinner. Unlike many places that only put 3 to 5 shrimp in a $10 plate, this dinner had 15 to 20 shrimp and was delicious.It's not an upscale place to go for a fancy dinner, but the food and service are great at a good price. Definitely recommend.

I had accidently left an electronic device at the booth I was dinning at. When I returned just minuets after I left they said they saved it for me. The manager went to retrieve it from the kitchen where it had been dropped in water and destroyed it. Instead if offering to replace it they told me "you should be more careful not to leave your things behind." Not a sorry or anything. I have been eating here long enough that when I came in they ask me if I want "the usual." this is no way to treat a loyal customer. They were very rude and I will never eat here again.

I love the "chips and salsa" they give you. The food is great, my favorite is the Orange Chicken and Wonton soup. YUM. The portions are huge and the service is fantastic.

Good, heaping portions of the quick chinese we grew up with in Texas. Highly recommend the hot and sour soup.

Picked up 2 lunch specials- Triple Delight and Sesame Chicken. Egg roll was soggy, rice is tasteless, overall barely edible. Avoid.

It’s a taste I’ve tasted as a kid when my grandma would call in a order almost every week I remember the delivery man would pull up on a bike with a smile every time a bit out of breath but always with a smile. Although my grandmother passed away a few years already one bite of shrimp fried rice and beef and broccoli bring back so meany memories. Now I bring my kids here GOOD FOOD!!

If you want good, standard Chinese food this is your go to spot in South Austin. They're always slammed for lunch I've noticed.. So make sure to allow some time for your order to be ready.The service leaves something to be desired everytime I've come here. Hence the four star review. The place is clean but I am not a fan of the carpet on the floor. I wish they would take that out.The food has never let me down and the general tso's chicken has always been my go to here. Everything that I've tried has been really good.. So just try one of everything. I also loveeeee the mushu pork!Will continue coming back here but hoping the service gets a tad better.

I ordered from this place,and was served hot greasy garbage!!!i called to voice my food was greasy (looked like slop) egg roll not cooked in the center....just horrible!!!the manager is a loon...he actually came into my workplace..and would not leave!!!!no i did not want anything more from there kitchen just a refund...I cant explain my anger at his unprofessionalism at carrying on at my workplace,rather then just leaving!!!had to threaten to call the policeBeware of this place....besides bad food...you might get a visit from the deranged manager!!!

Its pretty fast ordering, never really had a problem with waiting to long. I always get it to go, its a small hole in the wall kind of feel to it if you eat in the restaurant. The food is good and you get a big serving. Egg drop soup is good and has diffrent taste from other places.

Place is awesome. Food is good - had a hard time finding a place with the right mix....good food, and not too expensive. It's crazy that the reviews on here tend to be all over the place....I hope I don't have any bad experiences, but I think most reviewers are mistakenly taking the "lack of interest" from their interactions as bad customer service.

BEWARE! Went on 03/07/2020, thought it had good reviews by google. The staff was polite when we were seated. We were brought out our drinks and appetizers, the chips and dipping sauce are complimentary. When I was picking up a chip I thought the chip was burnt, however it was a COCKROACH! Let our waitress know. She didn’t apologize or anything she just said don’t worry you won’t have to pay. Then we left. Will never be back. This should be a health hazard.

Ooohhh My Goodness! I found paradise in a non buffet style Chinese restaurant! The dishes here are exquisite, and reasonably priced. I personally had sampled their sesame beef at a friends leisure, and to have my own pile of this was a real treat. For that entree, a dish of sweet n sour chicken, a bowl of wonton soup and 2 eggrolls, i got just as full as at an all-u-can-eat, spending the same amount, and was satisfied knowing the ingredients are way better quality than any buffet.

Changing my rating from 4 stars to three. The food is good but the service is not very friendly, at least the. Last time I visited. I will give one more try and see if things improve.

First time @ this restaurant. The place is clean, does not smell, was very impressed. The food was good and the veg. egg rolls were great. Services great.

This place used to be delicious but the last time I ate there it was just a mediocre and very greasy. I would not recommend it.

Been coming here since I was a kid now in my 30's the food use to be great but I always got the same thing... Beef broccoli or combo fried rice.But recently ordered orange chicken 😝 over fried so the meat was dried out and the sauce was runny... Very disappointed and wait staff not so friendly. May have to find a new chinese spot to eat at

Neighborhood gem. This place has been absolutely on point for years. Call in your food, and get an honest quote time for when it’s ready. Stay delicious guys.

Really good Chinese food. Glad I found it. Looks like a whole in the wall from the outside and the neighborhood is sketchy but don't let that keep you away. Had the poo poo platter and the Chicken and Shrimp combo with Fried Rice. Everything was tasty. Server was quick and attentive enough but she was not pleasant and didn't seem to want to be there. That's why only 4 out of 5.

The food was great. Although they were busy, they served the food in a timely and efficient manner. People were friendly and attentive. Great service 1st Wok!

This restaurant has very poor customer service. I ordered my food at 3:30 PM I arrived to pick it up at 4 o’clock I paid for they made me wait another 20 minutes and then whenever I spoke with them about it they told me my food has been ready for 30 minutes

1st Wok never disappoints! Food is always fresh and the best General Tso's I've ever had! Living in Elgin and I go out of my way to come here every chance I get.

I really hate to say it, but I have to be honest. This was the worst Chinese food I ever had. I have no idea what those wings were, they didn't look like wings at all. The"fried rice" was just brown wet rice with no veggies in it. And it had some dark sauce on it that tastes like a vinegar or chemical. The chicken vegetable lo mein was full of veggies but it also had a vinegary, chemical taste that made my lips burn and made us nauseous. I'll never order this ever again!!

Best take out Chinese restaurant in town! Never got any delivery late to us, not only that but the food tasted fresh and full of flavor. Would keep calling this place for more!

I've been a customer for over 25 years. I have always enjoyed their food. My problem is I ordered a delivery meal and had to throw it away. The delivery person had no gloves or face mask. He stood close as if everything is normal. If the delivery person does not abide by the rules in place for delivery does that mean the same goes for the chefs? I will not eat their again due to the lack of caring for the health of their customers. Never again!

This place deserves the great ratings it gets. Amazing lemon chicken, good fried rice. Really good flavor and display. Good service. Very fast. Got my food super quick after ordering to-go during a lunch rush.

Great customer service and tasty food. The inside is the classic Chinese restaurant. Not high end but just right imo. Egg rolls aren't the best, that's the only reason for a for star. I will be back!!!

No egg roll or soup was included in meal. I did laugh at the Ice Tea option in the dessert menu

Lemon chicken tastes faintly like cleaning fluid. General Tso's/Sesame dishes feature chicken with the dry, fibrous, spongy yet stringy consistency of wood mulch. Hot and sour soup is filled with scrambled eggs. Cheap, low quality food overall. Always mixups with delivery. It's a matter of pure optimism to order lunch from here in the first place. Maybe dinner is different, for all I know, but it's hard to imagine having had three or four eye rolling disappointments for lunch. I will not be returning if I can help it.

This is my go to place for Chinese food, great flavor and huge portions. good bang for your buck. I've been coming in for almost 10 years and i am a satisfied customer every time.
